The Experience
Enlightened fitness emphasizes the fact that you already have all that you need to reach your goals. 
Personal training services guide you to utilize your current abilities and motivation. Any schedule and equipment will do!
Programs are designed and refined according to your physical experience both during, and after workouts to optimize how your body adapts. 
You are encouraged to practice self-compassion and patience, ask questions and provide updates. In addition to learning what to do to facilitate progress, you will learn how and why it works. Understanding and embracing your mind and body will enrich your journey.
 Fitness is never linear but each situation can be leveraged as an opportunity to further empower you!

Hi! I am Anne Gregory. 

If you are here, thank you so much for the opportunity to support your commitment to health; I hope that my services guide your path to wisdom and wellness. Experiences in challenges, wellness, and mindfulness in my life have inspired me to create Enlightened Fitness to help you optimize your quality of life!

I have been a personal trainer since 2022 and am currently pursuing a master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from University of North Carolina Greensboro, where I currently work as an assistant in the university’s bariatric exercise program. Before that, I lived in Illinois and attended college in Pella, Iowa. Additionally, I have been exploring and practicing secular Buddhism since 2022, which has given me abundant gratitude for each day and inspires me to share joy wherever possible. 


What I love most about personal training/fitness is that it is for everybody and can improve so many parts of life. My approach to personal training is shaped by both my knowledge of exercise physiology and understanding of Buddhist philosophy. I believe each person is capable of enhancing their life through fitness, and my role is to meet you where you are, work together to discover how fitness applies to your lifestyle, and optimize well-being. I will learn from your feedback to tailor future, more personalized sessions to best fit you!


In addition to fitness, I am passionate about family, animals, books, being outdoors, movies/musical theater, and coffee. Other tidbits: I tend to geek out about nutrition, I fully agree that laughter is the best medicine, about ⅔ of what I say is a quote of some form, and I will almost always prefer to stay in, with my cat, Rico, and dog, Greta, over going out. Also, I grew up on a farm in Illinois with all sorts of pets and still fall in love with nearly every animal I meet.

First Month Virtual Coaching

  • First month is $25 and following months are $20. Using the Superset app, you will have access to your tailored program as well as weekly check-ins and in-app messaging for anytime support-

Hybrid: Virtual coaching + In-person sessions (each session individually purchased upon scheduling)

$20/Month
  • All the features of virtual coaching in addition to a minimum of 8 in-person sessions, where we can discuss form modifications, answer in-the-moment questions and get to know each other to fine-tune your plan!
  • The first monthly price (20) and following months (15) is lower than the purely virtual option because in person sessions are purchased according to you.
  • This option is recommended for at least the first month of each program to ensure proper form, intensity and clarity of workout structure.
  • Payment occurs via the Superset App for the virtual portion and through Strive for the in-person sessions.
